Jack went broke and had to sell all his assets, because
- he can't afford to pay for the very large area of land for the giant's burial,
- he have to pay for hundreds of undertaker to bury the giant,
- Jack were given extra tax for enviromental waste and the awful smell that came out of the giant's bog
